19 Nov The New York Palace Hotel Unveils Its Specialty Triplex Suites
If you’ve been around 50th Street and Madison Avenue in the past year, you know that it has been a total construction zone with the Cathedral in scaffolding, 50th Street in shambles and the beloved New York Palace Hotel in a much needed, but very extensive $140 Million renovation. As the jewel in the crown for the New York Palace Hotel, the final phase of the renovation was revealed with the unveiling of its two specialty triplex suites. Prepare to be amazed at every last detail in these over-the-top suites, which begin at $25,000, per night. These exclusive suites can be found Fifty-three stories above the streets of Manhattan, and the highlight of The Towers, which serves as a hotel-within-a-hotel for guests looking for the ultimate in luxury while staying at this elite property.
The Jewel Suite
Designed by Martin Katz, this suite is exactly as you would expect if you are at all familiar with the work by this jeweler to the stars. You’re greeted by the posh Port Laurent stone floors and the magnificent 20-foot ‘diamond waterfall’ chandelier, before being inspired with the light flooding into the Grand Parlor from the brilliant floor-to-ceiling windows and perfected by the sight of the grand piano sitting center stage. “I am thrilled and honored to have been asked to be part of the rebirth of this incredibly iconic hotel,” said Katz. “Our vision of how to excite the luxury client aligned perfectly into this crescendo of the Jewel Suite.” Beyond the endless features and amenities available to guests when staying in this suite, guests also receive a $2,500 Martin Katz Diamond Microband Ring so you’re certain to remember your experience. The ultimate proposal package starts at approximately $50,000 per night and includes this amazing suite, along with a private consultation with Mr. Katz for the creation of your very own custom-designed engagement ring and/or wedding band and customized dinner for two on the private rooftop terrace with one of the most awesome views of Manhattan.
The Champagne Suite
Designed by notable design firm BBG-BBGM and led by Interiors Partner and Principal Designer Amy Jakubowski, this suite provides a much different vibe than the Jewel Suite, while both providing endless luxuries and an out-of-this-world destination to call “home” while in Manhattan. This suite proves ideal for an intimate gathering with friends and family in a spectacular setting. The floor-to-ceiling windows truly open the space and provide an abundance of natural light. Additionally, a library lounge, a rustic and inviting wine cave, a visually simulating two-story black and white wall mural created by French artists Alex et Marine and a beautiful dining room with ample seating for up to 10 all combine beautifully to bring the best of the modern and classic design elements together in one grand, yet intimate, suite. Where better to sit and sip champagne than in your own custom-designed Jacuzzi spa on your private outdoor terrace.
