Creating Your Own Epic Adventure

For LuxeGetaways | I was recently asked to test the newest Schick Hydro® products as part of a sponsored post for the Socialstars campaign, #MakeItEpic. With summer finally within sight, it’s time to plan a variety of adventures for these next several months. From extreme sports to exclusive weekend golf getaways, either way you go; it’s all about getting away from the normal routine, and making the most of every second.

Schick Hydro® has a very impressive collection of #Epic videos that provide plenty of travel inspiration, including this one of a natural waterslide anyone would love to experience first-hand. It might not be as extreme as skydiving in Taupo New Zealand with an up-close-and-personal view of three of the world’s most active volcanoes, but the natural waterslide looks like a blast!

One of my first adventures of the season falls into the category of being a more casual adventure, but one that still requires a clean shave to start each of my days while teeing it up for some epic golf. With the fairly recent acquisition of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (Pinehurst No. 9), the Pinehurst Resort now has an impressive nine golf courses to challenge any golfer. Golf here is epic, and a clean shave is imperative to feel your best when you and your caddie tee off on anyone of these courses.

Host of last year’s U.S. Open, the infamous No. 2 is a must-play, and this unique course for this area has more than 100 years of rich United States golf history. The golf proved to be amazing, and the close shave with the Schick Hydro® Ultra Glide® proved itself by maintaining a clean shave throughout the day of golf, spa and a walk into town for a dinner with friends in the evening. Regardless of the level of intensity of your epic adventure this season, a close shave is important to look your best when you post that inevitable selfie on social media.Pinehurst_Epic-Adventure_Damon-M-Banks
